Our on-site chef and food preparation team are experts in providing bespoke baby, toddler and child-friendly food that ticks all the boxes. We’re talking hidden veggies, yummy snacks and healthy meals your child is going to be excited to sit down and eat with their friends.
We source fresh, local produce
We source our fresh produce from local Canberra businesses and even provide a variety of complimentary ‘Grab & Go’ breakfast options for families including barista-style takeaway coffee with coffee beans from local cafe Little Luxton. Yes, complimentary coffee for parents! Just bring your keep cup and our on-site barista will happily whip you up a latte or flat white to go to help make your morning that little bit easier.
We provide breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack, are a nut and allergy aware centre that caters for all allergies and dietary requirements and are a breast-feeding friendly centre.
Food for Thought
LillyPilly’s Food for Thought program is facilitated weekly by our kitchen team in each playspace. Food for Thought is derived from a monthly theme, creating wonder, connection and fun for all things food related.
- When creating a food garden, preparing and eating the produce, the children are connecting with the earth in real and positive ways.
- Cooking with others creates social opportunities for conversations and turn taking.
- Following recipes explores mathematical and scientific concepts.
- Children can discover origins of food, seasonality, as well as the life cycle of growing.
